Hello friends, today we will see how to set up netbeans IDE for JSP project.
Step 1 : 1st of all you have to download the net-beans IDE. Search it from Google, or you may go to our Software Links page. Download it from there and install it on your machine(we are using WIN7 O.S.).
Step2 : Now open Netbeans--
Step 3: Now click on new project option(ctrl+shift+N). Click on NEXT button in the new window.
Step 4: Give a project name. Click next.
Step 5: Now Click on FINISH button.
Step 6 : Now you will get this window. The index file(index.jsp). Now you can edit your code here. To import new jsp page just right click on "web pages" -> "new" -> "jsp" -> "give the name" -> "finish". To import new java file(i.e. servlet) right click on "source package" -> "new" -> "java package" -> "give name" -> "finish". Then right click on the package (i.e. created package by you recently) -> "new" -> "java class" -> "give name" -> "finish".
Step 6 : Now we will say before coding, add the jar file to access the Oracle DB. It's a driver. right click on Libraries and add the jar file as shown in the picture below.
